🔔 Join the "Watchers from the Galleries" Session Kickoff!
A Guided Tour to Prepare You for the Legislative Session
Before we can "fill those seats every single day the legislature is in session", we want to ensure you feel confident, prepared, and welcome in the People's House.
Visiting the Missouri Capitol can be overwhelming, especially during the busy legislative session. That's why we're hosting a "Session Kickoff" event in November. This is the perfect opportunity to visit the Capitol while it's quiet and learn the ropes.
This event is designed to ease any stress or intimidation factors. We’ll walk you through everything you need to know so you can be fully prepared to stand as a Watcher when the session begins in January.
You will learn:
- Where to park
- How to get into the building and navigate security
- The location of the House and Senate chambers
- Where to find key hearing rooms
- Where to eat or grab refreshments
